| TYGERS OF PAN TANG: Live At Nottingham Rock City (Edgy112) Recorded on the Rolling Stones mobile in 1981 by Chris Tsangerides on their Spellbound tour, this is the first live Tygers album ever. The album features guitarist John Sykes (Thin Lizzy/Whitesnake) together with the classic line-up of Jon Deverill (vocals), Brian Dick (drums), Robb Weir (guitar), Rocky (bass). The master tapes from the recording have been mixed by Fred Purser at his studio in Newcastle upon Tyne. Fred, of course, replaced John Sykes as the Tygers’ guitarist when John joined Thin Lizzy. Sleeve notes for the album were written by the band’s manager throughout their career, Tom Noble. The booklet contains unseen archive photos of the tour from the band’s private collections. |
