HOLOCAUST The Nightcomers (EDGY106) The Nightcomers was originally out in 1980 & influenced metal acts on both sides of the Atlantic at the height of the NWOBHM. To this day, the band have high profile fans: no less than 4 high profile acts have covered tracks from this album: Metallica covered The Small Hours on their Garage Days EP in 1987; their Garage Inc. album in ’98 & live on their Whiskey In The Jar single in 1999. Gamma Ray covered Heavy Metal Mania on 3 separate releases in the mid 90s, Six Feet Under covered Death Or Glory on their 1997 Warpath album on Metal Blade &, finally, The Meat Puppets covered The Small Hours on their Live album for Rykodisc. The album includes the band’s 3 track Heavy Metal Mania 12” single from 1981 as bonus tracks.
HOLOCAUST Live (Hot Curry & Wine) (EDGY107) Live (Hot Curry & Wine) is Holocaust’s only live album, first released in 1983. 2 extra tracks have been added from their Raw, Loud, Live EP (1981). The album also includes live versions of the tracks covered by Metallica, Six Feet Under, Gamma Ray & The Meat Puppets.
HOLOCAUST The Courage To Be (EDGY111) New studio album from the Scottish rock act who influenced many major acts including Metallica who have covered the band 3 times - the last time being on their 1998 Garage Inc. album. Other acts who have covered Holocaust recently are Gamma Ray, Six Feet Under & The Meat Puppets. This is Holocaust’s eighth album & contains 10 brand new tracks.
